'A Great British Safari'

When people think of safaris and wildlife photography, they tend to think of the more exotic animals like lions, tigers, and bears. They never think of the wildlife we have here, in the UK, but why not? We get so used to seeing our wildlife that we often look straight past it, but if you take the time to watch it, you might be surprised by what you see.

In this book, you will be taken on a safari across the UK with multi award-winning wildlife photographer, Alannah Hawker. Alannah’s work focuses on showing the beauty of the wildlife we have the UK, from tiny mice to swans, foxes and more. She has travelled the UK in search of wildlife, but most of her work is based around her home town in Surrey where she follows several local animals.

Inside, Alannah shares some of her wildlife stories and experiences alongside her photographs, giving us an insight into how she got some of her images.

So why not come on a Great British Safari?

Here is what some of our customers had to say:

' I just wanted to write to say how much I've enjoyed your book I bought (for my Mum) at the weekend. I'm familiar with your lovely photographs but I thought that the narrative was superb - just right for the subject matter and shows how much you love what you do. Keep up the good work '

Anne Marriner
